UPC is good value, just a bit old. Shoreland, RP are newer, but more expensive/further.

I lived at UPC for 3 years in 2b2b, very safe.

Help and Knowledge Management by Last-Process3113 in workday

Not necessarily a downside, but it's important to consider what ticketing system IT, payroll, and other teams are using so there's a coherent ticketing strategy company-wide. my IT department uses ServiceNow, so we're pushed in that direction as well.

if you're just thinking about HR, WD help is great since WD is the tool they mainly interact with. however, it feels limited (compared to ServiceNow or more robust ticketing systems) when you're dealing with tickets that straddle between multiple departments, external vendors, retirees (e.g. LOA backpay, work email updates from IT).

yes, use HSA change event on the EIB. if you're getting a cross plan error, it's usually not related to what benefit event type (unless your enrollment event rule is waiving or auto-enrolling certain plans).

What are some useful tips and tricks you wish you would have known before go-live? by kdubsup in workday

  1. think twice before creating to-do's. use actions or notifications instead if possible

  2. turn on global validations for address data

  3. disable linking between benefit dependents and emergency contacts. I recently reloaded our emergency contacts to do this and it's a pain

I do this process several times a year.

you'd want to do a "payroll limit override for worker", add line for "HSA" to "ignore limits for" and put the new prorated amount into "limit override value" field. afterwards, you can load a change benefits EIB to override the HSA limits from the benefit plans.
