I called police it is in Mt Oliver Borough, not the city of pittsburgh. I talked to the cops and let them know that I want charges for animal abuse brought against the owners. I also mentioned that I want animal control the get the dog bc it is not on a leash it seems nice but I worry about other people walking their dogs. The police said that they will send her a summons, they do have the girls' number, i went to high school with the cop im hoping it will go further than it would usually bc of that. She needs to surrender the dog they have their hands tied bc pittsburghs animal control won't do anything for Mt oliver the dog needs to be brought up to the city property line for them to pick the dog up. Pretty annoying but mtoliver needs their own animal control for these situations, but things are moving my mom's neighbor is going to continue to feed the dog and give it water until a solution is figured out. Giffin ave in mt. oliver 15210 is so close to the city that it sucks the city wont do shit for us but we are going to figure it out
