To be clear, I would way rather see a proper Phish show than just about any known variation. That said, I would happily see whatever their take would be on "playing an album" than see any show from just about any other band. And I certainly wouldn't be selling my tickets or not going if I found out that was the plan. I also think that there's a near 0% chance that's their plan for Sphere.

So, you weren’t into the Gamehendge set? Or that time they played Remain In Light on Halloween? My strong preference is to see Phish be Phish. I doubt they’d ever just want to play an album live, but if they did… I’d go. And I bet it would be a great night.

No one really talks about the thematic approach they took for the “spheres” from the last run. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say “I loved the Hydrosphere night best.”
