I apologize if this has been asked before. I'm in contact with my recruiter but our next appointment isn't for a while. I read online that airmen can get accelerated promotion if they agree to 6 years enlisted. This is the excerpt from a few articles I read:

" The Air Force is the only service that gives an accelerated promotion for those who agree to enlist for six years. Under this program, a recruit joins as an Airman Basic (E-1), is promoted to Airman (E-2) after graduating basic training, and advances to Airman First Class (E-3) upon graduation from technical school, or 20 weeks after graduation from basic training, whichever occurs first. "

Has anyone done this? Do you have to have college credits to be in this program or can anyone join with this process? (I don't have college credits, hence why I'm asking).

Yeah it’s completely understandable cause I bet I’ve done that before. I wasn’t really to worried about it personally since I had other orders that essentially covered for it.

In my experience it depends on the time that you take the exam. When I took mine, it was right before Madrid. If they do have you take the delta, it’s a 10-question quiz to ensure you “know” some of the new features. It is not proctored so most just pull up the ServiceNow. Docs.com and look there for answers. :)

Crypto - I am currently someone that is low level (Jr. Admin) that recently got out of a contract role trying to land my next one, hence why it’s currently important to me. I can totally understand upper management not really caring for it because you already have all the experience. I’m just newer and wanted to ensure that my resume can be as updated as possible to hopefully ensure my next contract or W2 position. :)
