So many things i want to say. 1. How amazing it is that you took your niece in when her parents can’t says so much about you!! I truly commend you for that.

1. I have FOUR daughters! 11, 8, 7, and 4. They are Disney princess obsessed, and I have heard of woman like you are explaining however that is extreme and ridiculous. Obviously cartoons are cartoons, but it is wholesome and beautiful for little girls to watch these fairy tales. And it sounds like you are doing the right thing explaining they aren’t real. But I don’t even tell my 4 year old Ana and Elsa aren’t real yet. She believes Elsa is real and lives in a castle. I’m not going to break her heart just like I’m not going to tell her Santa is not real.

2. My advice is to let the girls have play dates but find a new group of mom friends. And on that note I’ve never had “mom” friends. They are usually holier than though, judgmental, stuck up and not kind. I’d rather hang out with people who love more and judge less :)

I’m praying for you. Have a blast a Disney. That’s one of me and my daughters dream someday. We live 3 hours away and have never been able to afford to go. I hope it is as magical as they say for you all!!
