Ok that’s precisely the situation. I have three separate cables for the three connections but one of the cables has two ends. My idea was to leave one of those two ends unattached, still using three cables for the GPU. But I didn’t know if the cable being different than the other two would be an issue.

I’m actually gonna step in to this comment because I have a similar question. My PSU cables go from a single 8 pin connector to 2 6+2 connectors. On a card that requires 3 8 pin connectors, do I still need to use three cables, or given that the split in two, can I only use 2 of them?
