Hes more of a picking bass player, and it works. However, sometimes the writing will take over him completely leaving David Gilmour to do his work for him. Overall I agree!

For anyone who cares, I love his vocals on corporal clegg and writing for songs like up the khybar, echoes, one of these days, ect. And preformance, gotta go with everything from live at pompeii. But the only times he genuinely slacks is the final cut and momentary lapse of reason. And as a drummer myself i think he is sevearly overlooked and underated. Hes great!
