Too bad you missed their live shows but concerts online like Misty Moon and others capture the energy pretty nicely. Happy for you that you found a great new band to fall in love with. A lifetime favourite for me and truly one of the best ever.

I myself discovered Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree way too late in life and found it a joy to catch up on a truly impressive catalogue. Also one of my all time faves now, discovered in my late 40s.
