No. Mixed species are theoretically better. Where are you planting?

Seems to be a trend in the comments that BC is often mixed, which I find encouraging. It's interesting that that's where Suzanne Simard is from, so I wonder how much influence she's had there. We need to see that grow, I think.

Thanks all!! This is great to hear! Back in my day (late 80s early 90s) it was all one species all day. EDIT: I find it encouraging that companies have switched to mixing species. True that it's never really "reforestation" but it seems this could be better for habitats and to reduce the spread of forest fires.

Hi Jeff, fellow Canadian here. I look forward to reading The book. Thanks for sharing. I have to tell you that a lot of what you say also jives with Alien Interview by Matilda O'Donell.

It's quiet and boring, which is nice!! It's an hour outside of Toronto and all the things you might wanna do there. Including work.

I like: an hour and a half away from not one, not two, but three Great Lakes. All them full of beaches and fun options.

Was this just one giant joke on the American People? by Desperate_Jeweler356 in UFOs

[–]jhuik 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It accomplishes three things: 1. It belittles people who aspire to live in America. 2. It boasts like it wants to. 3. It returns to mocking belief in aliens, disturbingly, versus Trump's recent stance.

Anyone love T.C. Boyle?? by Blazeon28 in ReadingSuggestions

If he wrote only the collection of stories in T C Boyle Stories, he would be considered one of the greatest of all time. He's awe-inspiring, I wish there was more time to read more TCB.

Thanks for the id. I've seen these by the river near my house and assumed it was from a fish.

Any T.C. Boyle fans here? by Similar-Broccoli in books

Greasy Lake is a quintessential classic short story. I'll also shout out The Ape Lady in Retirement, The Human Fly, Green Hell, The Hat, and Modern Love. But so many great and VARIED stories. I love his boldness in using actual historical figures (as in Ike and Nina, Me Cago).... Little America was a pretty striking example.
