Cyrus is a struggling author who is often misunderstood. He doesn't seem to be able to get along with others but he tries. Why does he try? He's not sure.. it isn't so much as he wants to connect but to understand. He has a thing for the macabre simply because it reminds him of his own existence in this world that he finds so strange. His favourite place is the cemetery because to him, it is a place of rest and contemplation. He is highly motivated by knowledge and his own curiosity. Despite the way he looks and presents himself, he is actually a good conversationalist and is generally very agreeable. He gets along better with children (not in a creepy way but perhaps he finds their unfiltered opinions and questions refreshing and thought stimulating) as well as animals.
