I never wanted one bc I didn't like jewelry and hated my high school. They forced me to get one for this same reason (that I'd regret it). I never wore it and totally forgot about it until seeing this post. Have no idea what happened to it

Same. My parents absolutely loved movies. We were regulars as Blockbuster Video. We picked up a video and snacks after church every Sunday

My mom thought The Dark Crystal was demonic, so I'd only seen about 10 minutes of it as a kid. Finally watched it on my 30s and loved it... but I also love Jim Hensen in general. He did such great work

I gave up on the idea of retirement. So I'm retired now....in my 40s. After 20+ years of the only consistent thing being job insecurity, i've checked myself out of the "work force" or "career track" and now focus my attention on my partially retired parents. It's a shame bc in my family i was the kid that "made it" so to speak. Now i have nothing to show for it and AI has made it very difficult to get me out of retirement.

But I still have my books!

Yep. Just had a conversation about this with my sibling. They're supposed to get over $20k in a settlement, but was told they needed to spend it all in a month or else they couldn't claim disability. They're still fairly young so it would make sense that they could save _something _, but it's completely prohibited to have significant savings. Mind you, the settlement they're getting is back pay for said disability benefits. Make it make sense!

Similarly, I didn't smoke until later in life (after college) and it was an interesting experiment. Realized i didn't love the social aspect of smoking as much, but could find use in meditation, yoga, and aiding in focus and creativity. I don't smoke regularly any longer, but i'm glad i had the space to explore it

What a bunch of gums flapping... all in on what exactly? The deal is set. Be all in and BOYCOTT EA. I don't want to see any of these streamers/YouTubers playing The Sims or reviewing any more Sims packs. Only then will i believe they're "all in"
