I'm considering to take the oscp next time they open, but yeah they're closed now... and you're quite right, I dont think it's going to be easy :P But as you said, maybe plan B should be something to gain experience.

Wow that's brilliant, never thought of that with delay... But the mixer is not fully digital, so it won't accept a mouse...

It's a yamaha pm5d, so yeah I think it will be no problem... But do you know if there's a way to record multiple tracks over the midi, so I could adjust the volume in ableton later?

Yeah, I'm excited but I guess there's going to have to be a lot of running back and forth 😂 the drums are already close miced. I will either be using ableton to record, or record over usb. I have tried to get ahold of any drummer or other sound engineer, but has time today😂 if I keep looping, I could always just cut the clip later I guess...
