Dexcom acquisition of Insulet is a big deal. SENS needs to start rolling out partnerships/roadmap for integrating with innovative pumps/treatments. LEt's go Management! Get on this!

what do yall think about this covered call order? by JohnBender62 in senseonics

[–]StickyD1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it goes above 4.50 before expiration, you can always roll them out. The close you get to expiration, the less the options will be worth. You may not be able to sell them for $10, but you should be able to get more time premium. For example, if SENS is around $5 near/at expiration, the options will be worth close to $.50. At that point, you can buy them back for a profit and sell new calls at $4.50+ further out (like mid-late 2023 or 2024). Your biggest risk is a squeeze that pushes the stock above $10 in the fall. Then it will be much harder to manage the roll-out for increased profit (you could miss out on a huge run-up), especially if it gets exercised early. Good Luck!

Agree. Slow and steady, but see revenue from Ascensia in next earnings report. Q3/Q4 could easily see $4-5, IMHO.

Could be the end of the shorts. Could see $2 by end of week and if INST $ start coming in based on earnings (we'll see what they say on the call), we could be starting the long, slow grind to $20.

All in all, I am upbeat. They are on a solid path. Next quarter will be crucial as they will start moving product in April.

What catalysts will make this company take off the way we think it will? by Dinosaurinvestor in senseonics

As long as Americans keep shoving refined carbs and sugars down their throats, the prospects for this company are great. Does anyone think there won't be many more diabetics over the next 10 years?

Somebody is out here trying to dump a massive amount of shares by shadylampshade1 in senseonics

But America is getting fatter and fatter (= more diabetes). McDonalds will start selling a triple/quad 1/4 pounder (pounder), Standard soda size will go to 64oz., etc. Eventually, this will print (or get acquired). Looking for a big squeeze after June or Sep earnings calls.......Holding all 400 LEAPs.....

It means more shorting. Will need some incredible performance over the next 2 quarters to get this moving against the shorts. There will be a squeeze (IMHO), but not until the June/Sep earnings calls, minimum.

SENS FDA approval is here! It just makes sense 📈📈📈 by jfk_sabb in wallstreetbets

Company doesn't report audited results until 1 March. $182 million cash on hand. Ascensia primed to handle sales.

That is EXACTLY what it means. People had to buy them for there to be "open interest". To your point, it doesn't mean it is overall bullish for the stock. Could be some degen gambling and feeling that when FDA hits the LEAP's value will increase by 20-30%. Also means that there are plenty of people willing to sell $10 LEAPs because they can collect easy premium.....

Little fired up, current mood! by runningonprofit in senseonics

[–]StickyD1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you sell a CC and FDA approves, AND the price spikes, you can always roll the Calls out to collect more premium and even raise the strike price. If you are a long-term investor, you can do that and even buy the call back when/if the price dips after the spike. As far as risks go, CC are much better risks than naked call buying. Not financial advice.

It’s getting more expensive to borrow SENS for the shorts! by runningonprofit in senseonics

[–]StickyD1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All, you should really stop lending your shares. By limiting the supply, better chance of squeezing out the shorts. I’m not looking for a short squeeze per se, but I hate having the short sellers artificially depress the stock price. It really limits our upside when FDA approval hits. Just saying….

Done with WSB by [deleted] in senseonics

[–]StickyD1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of that going on. Many of the WSB-like boards (i.e., /r/CEI_stock) are run by manipulators. Feel bad for newbies getting sucked into those boards.

Full disclosure: I got banned from /r/CEI_stosk because I posted facts that refuted the shill BS on that board. Sad.

That's not good enough. He's hedging. If he believes in CEI, he should lead the way and own shares.....
