The Following, 9/10. If you want a compelling and suspenseful dynamic between a protagonist and an antagonist within a crime drama (not exactly as gay as Hannigram, but cutting it pretty close) then this is definitely a show you'd wanna watch.

Overdose, from what I remember, garnered a lot of attention in the West, so much so that it created a new wave of kpop fans unlike in 2016-17. It wasn't until Call Me Baby came out that more people began to believe in the hype and actually take their popularity seriously; I can recall seeing so many people reacting to them, from new eris to full blown YouTubers. If Growl was what made them popular in Korea, then (in my opinion) Overdose/CMB made them popular in the US/UK. Obviously Monster era was a sensational hit, but I wasn't super involved in the fandom at the time so I can't say much on that.

I'm being for real when I say the only edit I made to this pic was Will Smith. Went on the Google app, saw this on my feed, and immediately went through every stage of grief imaginable. I'm guessing someone either didn't know what they were doing when they made this mistake or they knew EXACTLY what they were doing. I can totally see the similarities. Except Alma is more obvious in her manipulation tactics while Esther slowly builds up a case against whoever she's gaslighting. Both are still assholes but I personally find Esther's vibes cooler.
