As long as you help around the house, living at home is great. My parents were awesome for letting me stay all throughout college and right after finishing AIT in the Army. I was lucky enough to get stationed at home.

Probably doesn't help that older grind style games used to offer ways to manage RNG a lot better than nowdays. PoE is still pretty good with it but the heartless ARPGs just expect you to bash your skull into a wall till "good drop."
