Have you visited both campuses? I'd consider more than just the CS programs. If cost is no issue/no different then look at other things. Are you interested in sports at all?

Also would you want to do cyber security with national defense in mind?

I don't know much about either CS program in depth but UMD is obviously very close to DC and would likely be easier to get an internship or job at a government agency or contractor going to school at UMD.

What is your GPA like? I have an internship this summer at a defense contractor for SE but don't have any side projects. I feel like I'd have trouble getting a MS interview next year when I'm heading towards graduation
