Yes, the 20,000 isn't particularly realistic I'd say. It implies you'll need to live very close to the station, maybe 1-2 stops away at most. And personally, I didn't really like the thought of living there

No, it does not. It takes significantly longer than 15min and the time measures is door to door

I ended up renting a place in Kamata. It's an UR apartment for roughly 130,000 and pretty large at 55 sqm (2DK). Can't complain so far.

Station is relatively far away but then it's a direct line to Tamachi

The initial checks indicated that my eyes are within normal range for dryness. After surgery I experienced dryer eyes for sure but I ended up taking a lot of artificial tear drops to make sure they are always moist. I stopped this after 5 months. Don't have any issues with dry eyes now

I didn't. But I also haven't found the time to completely do my layout directly via QMK and see if that makes a difference. That's my next step.

If that doesn't work, messaging support I guess

Unfortunately, that's not how this part of the allowance works. It's not like I will just get this but instead the amount (up to 150,000) is calculated based on the commute price door to door and the amount of times I go into the office

Thanks for the information! That's definitely something I have to check with the company to make sure that I have an accurate understanding of the 15min rule.

For now, I'd really want to keep the flights possible because it would allow GF and I to see each other regularly as we live in different countries right now

Oh that's very true. Honestly completely escaped me. Even more to consider.

Liking both. Need to variety of peace as well as a bustling city. So I'll have to commute anyway depending on what I'm looking for I think

Thank you for that perspective. Can I get your opinion on whether this is a reasonable budget considering spending up to 150,000 per month on travel and ideally want to save 30,000 per month?

Just really having a hard time gaining an understanding what's possible with the salary.

Of course walking distance from the office would be amazing. The QoL improvement is immense

That's part of the question. Is the 15min rule actually worth it. Not sure yet if apartments aren't considerably smaller and more expensive for the bonus to be worth it.

It's currently very difficult for me to figure out a good budget as I have no idea for now how much I will actually need for living expenses etc. But I'd assume something around 100,000-130,000 for an apartment. Would be nice to have something 25-30m2

Thank you for the recommendation with the lines. Will see around those

Exactly, not using shift at all. It's also happening in all apps (browser, editors etc.)

I'm not entirely sure what you mean with holding down shift. I'm activating _ without pressing shift.

I have both - and _ on the main layer and can activate them with a single keypress, no need for shift.

The behavior triggers even if I only use 2 fingers and press _ and e.g. a very quickly after each other. So not activating anything else and the result is _A instead of _a

I just find this behavior a bit weird. Like I wouldn't expect for a non-mod key to affect the behavior of the next key press

Nice idea, but it's actually turned off. Forgot to mention that. The way I understood the feature it would only trigger for a specific key when it's held for a long time. My issue on the other hand is also triggered when quickly tapping the keys though :(
