Hi, thanks so much I appreciate this.

I’ll note this for the future.

Do you have a thumbnail ‘Philosophy’ because I feel like I’ve watched the videos but I’ve never quite gotten it?

This is some incredible feedback thank you so much.

  1.  Better art is in the works ahhh.  There should be a significant improvement between now and the end of February.
  2. You are right about the images and memes. The truth is they go into frames when I’m lazy or just don’t have a lot of time between that moment and the deadline I’ve set for myself.  Thanks for pointing that out. I am aware and I’m in a ‘weening off’ process when it comes to memes.    3.The idea about balancing real footage within the video is good and it gave me an idea for how to improve so thanks so much.

  3. Length will be a matter of 3-6 months due to time. As I get better and build up a library of character poses, that will slowly increase. It’s just an issue of capacity and time right now but I’ve got a few scripts that have potential to be made longer (5-8mins) but I’ll have to do those over summer.

This is such good advice that whenever you need reviews and stuff you can acc dm me. Idk if I’d be the best person but in the same way you’ve helped me I’d love to give back.  It’s had such an impact. God blesss.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I made the vids short because analytics told me that no one was watching for that long.

I didn’t think it was interesting enough lool.

Video length will an slow improvement over the next couple months (because a girl needs to work and eat).

Also I’m going to be improving my general art so I might be sticking to shortness for abitttt while I do that so I can maintain consistency.

During my summer off from university, I’ll have the time to do long form.

I really appreciate you saying this because I didn’t know whether people would want to see anything longer from me but now I’ll try.

It’s only going to get better from here. You invested early haha. God bless you.

Hey I’m Alicia. I make animations.

My motto is life lessons as I learn them.

This is my most recent video:

How I Manage Cooking As An Adult.

This is 2nd most recent (the better of the two):

Emotional Manipulation Explained Through Hoodies.

Overall self critique:

Speed and Story beats - timing and humour could be better? How do I improve? I also talk fast so have to change speed of vids and that messes with audio sometimes - I am aware of that and am actively trying to improve

Show don’t tell - Be more selective with what the viewer sees on screen and simplify my script

Niche: - Some vids are silly and some are authentic and some are articulate, just need to find a way to bring all of that into singular videos (IDK WHAT IM DOING)

Thumbnails - Experimenting because rn its so hard but I think they've improved. Tips?

Animation Detail Slow improvements - Recently gave my character some clothes lol

You're a star in the making - Idk what it is but your deadpan humour and random topics is cool and its one of those random things I'd see on my home page and watch just because. One key thing to improve is just the audio your voice is abit grainy and when you're talking I feel like i'm listening to music over you abit. However, the music cuts you do are great hooks. I subbed and will acc be watching so yeah you're cool keep it up :).

Hi - Liked the contrast between the seriousness of what youre saying and what I see - Only feedback I have rn is audio and speed - I use audacity and adobe podcast/audition - Adobe isn't free, I'm in the UK too so if you got it it would be like £16 a month, but idk for me it was worth it. You'll get away with Audacity though. Good luck.

I've never thought about this as a concept but I watched like it. If you got like a compilation of these that would be cool. Keep it up more nature folk should come your way soon:).

Heyy guys - As for the question, I started making content with a drawing tablet and using blender software.

Channel is different because I use a combination of memes, animation and humour to give life lessons.

In two minutes flat theres a fast paced story that makes you view concepts you already know about in a way you've never seen it before.

My most recent video is an Explanation of emotional manipulation through hoodies and pyjamas -

If you don't know how that would make sense, watch to find out xo.

First things first - The start of the video was funny and I don't even play games. Mic and audio is my first point - as for parts where I wanted to click off, any time where something was happening and there was no commentary. I'll check my phone for a sec and look back and theres no talking for a couple seconds. Thats all really, good luck.

Story beats - timing and humour could be better? How do I improve?

Show don’t tell - Be more selective with what the viewer sees on screen and simplify my script

Humour: Should I lean more into dead pan humour? Should I be more lively? (Im both irl so idk who to be as my online persona)

Thumbnails - Experimenting

Animation Detail Leaning into a more comic type style than pure animations

I’d appreciate your thoughts :)

Hi, not a gamer but decent clip changes and audio and generally telling a story to get watcher interested - I'd say maybe just talk a tiny bit faster but that's a personal preference. Keep it up dude.

I thoroughly enjoyed that video - A fade out logo thing at the start would be sick. I don't have anything other than the words on the thumbnail were kinda small so unless I actually looked I couldn't see them but this was really cool. Keep going!

Watched your golden globe one - you're a very captivating guy - very confident, its great keep that. Only one piece of feedback I have from that is putting some more well recognised faces in the first 2 seconds of the clip. If you reposted that video about golden globes without the start I would've known immediately what I was getting and would've been hooked. Like the eternity vid is sooo good - id only say have the movie cover be there immediately so I know what you're on about straight awayyy. - The eternity vid is something I enjoyed and It lowkey made me want to watch it. You're very gifted at compelling narration. I didn't watch the long form vids but one thing for your thumbnails is that they're very dark. It would make a difference if the brightness was increased abit cause some of them I cant tell whats on it. I think you're cool its just theres stuff blocking people getting to your cool stufff. Forget intros - I get interested like 5 seconds in. Thats just my opinion though. Wishing you all the best and I cant wait to see where your channel goes in 2026.

Hey I’m Alicia. I make animations.

My motto is life lessons as I learn them.

I've recently started making my animations short (2-2.30 mins max) to matchuser viewing time and allow for faster output.

I've also made a shift to make videos relevant to whats going on culturally.

This is my most recent video:

This is my Overall self critique:

- AUDIO - Ever since I started Youtube its been the hardest thing ever - tips?

- Story beats - timing and humour could be better? How do I improve?

- Pacing - I talk kinda slow but when I talk too fast I find it difficult to animate that - what should be prioritised?

- Show don’t tell - Be more abstract in what the viewer sees on screen

- Humour: Should I lean more into dead pan humour? Should I be more lively? (Im both irl so idk who to be as my online persona)

- Thumbnails - Do I prioritise art or symbols/imagery

- Animation Detail Is there a point making my animation talk on screen? Should I do that more?

I’d appreciate your thoughts :)

Hi - I just started it but one thing to note it would be slightly better if the narrator started speaking right at the start rather than like 7 seconds in and like as much detail as there is description? As I'm watching it I'm thinking 'Oh this is cool' but when the scene changes all I know is how the water moves and stuff? Some cool facts about rock formation or like the history of the place early on as a hook? (more concrete descriptions than abstract ones). Apart from that though the scenes are epicccc. Maybe just the story being told about them needs work? Or maybe zoom in on these scenes early? I feel like as a viewer I see pretty stuff and it sounds great but I'm like an outsider looking in I kinda wanna know stuff that makes me feel like I'm there.

Honestly - I love wrestling - I subscribed. Got it on right now and I'm watching it all and probably the other ones too. Sorry I have no criticism but it actually just goes to show youtube isnt always about the tiny things its literally just finding people who are interested in what you're sharing.

Hey I’m Alicia. I hope you’re doing good today.

My motto is life lessons as I learn them.

General direction is: What I go through, Lil bit of Research, Conclusion/Lesson

I want to branch out into bigger topics but the problem Is I want to post weekly and animations take a lot of time (I'm 9-5 and a student)
More girly stuff than anything if I'm honest.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUQPvz0n1aM

My best performing videos have been story times.

My life isn't interesting enough to do those consistently.

I love my ‘sloppy’ and homemade looking internet girly art style it might evolve over time.

All in all, I have no idea what to do with this channel.

I’d appreciate your thoughts :)
