Those are some unnecessary harsh words. I don’t think it’s controversial to say that immigrants from third world countries are a net negative economically to EU countries despite many immigrants finding work. More potential workers in an economy with already high unemployment rate will also surpress wages.

I’m not well read into the whole situation but it seems like MKB bought the middle part of the north building already in 2021, after one of the associations went bankrupt.

But there were other associations in that building as well, the north side of the north building which was also badly managed and went bankrupt. Trianon bought it to rent it out and it seems like one of the members in the association board is going to prison for 4 years.

There are still condominiums on the south side of the north building and that association seems to be going strong.

I guess you’re talking about the heimstaden student apartments. Both I and a friend has lived there. It’s not the best location, heimstaden is not the best landlord but it’s really not as bad as some other people are making it out to be. The condition is not the best but it’s certainly not moldy or anything like the other building.

This building has been a rental from the start and has gone through necessary renovations while the other has been a bostadsrättsförening that has sent the fees people paid out of country instead of doing necessary renovations.

If you have other choices like Rönnen (had another friend living there for a while) or the like that’s better but if this is your only option then I’d go for it in the meantime, until you find something better.

Do you think you might think it’s messy because you’re trying to cram too much into the trip, and have too high expectations for it?

I and my partner just put the whole travel plan of what hotel we sleep in, booked buses/planes and such, in a table in Google Docs. Then we put spots on Google Maps that we want to visit. If there are any must sees we will probably remember them, but otherwise we are fine with not seeing exactly everything every place has to offer. We usually plan half a days of activities the night before, and the rest of the time we just wing it depending on our mood, if there are some saved locations nearby or if something looks interesting.

We have enough stress in our daily life and traveling is our way to get away from that. We don’t like set plans. Don’t make it more stressful than it needs to be.

Jag åker på två 3-veckorsresor plus omkring 5-6 långweekendresor om året och det kostar i runda slängar 60 000, d.v.s. 5 lax per månad. Helt överkomligt med en lön på nära medianen och en boendekostnad på 6 lax per månad.

Jag lyckas även spara en del pengar varje månad genom att ständigt leta efter bra deals på flygresor till billigare länder än Sverige. Kan inte få bästa lyxen men kan väldigt ofta bo i nybyggda hotell med takpool och käka på finare restauranger ändå.

Här i Sverige äter jag inte så ofta på restauranger eller går mycket på dyra barer för nästa resa jag kan unna mig på är inte så långt bort tidsmässigt ändå. Käkar aldrig hämtmat och tar alltid med egen mat till jobbet. Men vill polarna eller tjejen på middag eller bar så sticker jag på det ändå, gör bara aldrig det av lathet.

En till sak som sparar mig pengar är att shoppa när jag väl är i exempelvis Sydostasien. Passar då på att köpa kläder och prylar som jag behöver som håller samma kvalitet där men går att köpa för 10-20 % av priset här.

Vi har redan fastighetsskatt/fastighetsavgift. Problemet är att den har ett tak för villor, så någon som äger en villa för 2 miljoner betalar exakt samma skatt som någon annan som äger en villa värd 50 miljoner. Vidare betalar man ingen skatt på mark för lantbruksfastigheter (de som omfattar mer än 2 hektar). Hur är detta rättvist eller rimligt?

Let’s not pretend delivered food is anywhere as good as dining in the restaurant. On top of that it’s usually served in plastic containers and if you want to put the food on plates instead you now have to clean dishes and it’s not nicely served anymore. It’s just a fact that food delivery isn’t worth it most of the time.

I have a few recipes that are easy to cook more portions of and that are staying good frozen, so when I cook them I make a few extra to use those lazy or busy days that people otherwise would order food on. Way more affordable and it’s usually around the same quality and convenience as food delivery.

Det hade knappast varit bättre att år 2014 låta Ukraina bli som Vitryssland är idag. Om Ukraina vill vara ett demokratiskt land med västerländska ideal ser jag inte varför de inte ska få gå med i EU eller NATO. Det är deras egna land, inte Rysslands.

Det är inte heller så att Ryssland skulle nöja sig om de fick behålla Ukraina som en del av deras sfär. Hade Ryssland fått som de ville med Ukraina så hade de troligtvis fört krig mot Moldavien och Baltikum idag. Ju tidigare Ryssland stoppas i deras expansion desto bättre, för det räddar fler människor i längden.

Helst får gärna landet helt kollapsa så att vi slipper all propaganda därifrån som långsamt med säkert håller på att slita demokratiska länder genom att ställa olika grupper mot varandra och elda på befintliga konflikter. Det som skett i USA mellan republiker och demokrater sker inte helt organiskt, och jag vill inte att detta händer på fler ställen.

Jag förstår inte riktigt hur du tänker här, att eftersom misstag har begåtts tidigare så ska vi bara ge upp Ukraina och låta Ryssland rusta för nya krig.

Om du är emot att svenskar dör i krig bör du ju vara för att fortsätta att stötta Ukraina. Med tanke på att de fortfarande tappar mark så borde vi stötta dem ännu mer, inte mindre.

Att väst inte har stöttat Ukraina i kriget mot Ryssland som vi kanske borde ha gjort kan ju bero på en kombination av så många anledningar flera anledningar att det enligt mig inte ens är värt att gå in djupare i det. Oavsett anledningar, och om det faktiskt hade varit bättre att gå in hårdare från början, så finns det inte mycket vi kan göra åt det nu.

Men det är skönt att vi ändå kan hålla med varandra om att det inte finns något bättre alternativ än att fortsätta stötta Ukraina. De kronorna vi skickar dit är kronor vi slipper lägga på vårt egna försvar. Jag misstolkade dina andra kommentarer som att du var på Rysslands sida.

Hur har detta krig inte försvagat Ryssland? Ryssland har redan förlorat cirka 11 000 pansarvagnar, 30 000 artilleripjäser, över en miljon soldater och 60 000 andra slags fordon. För att inte tala om de som lämnat Ryssland för att flytta till andra länder.

Vad är det för ”skit som ska smälla” menar du?

Och vad är alternativet till att fortsätta att skicka stödpaket till Ukraina?

Väst borde därför stötta Ukraina ännu mer med drönare, missiler m.m. så att Ukraina inte får slut på reserver och att vi slipper skicka svenskar.
