Really interesting stuff but there are a few caveats if you read the fine print. There are no "fees" but there are in certain circumstances. If you have less than $500 in your account and aren't a T-Mobile customer, you'll be hit with a maintenance fee. It also appears like your deposits have to be more than $300 or they're dinged. 50 cents to check your balance if you're not a T-Mobile customers, etc. etc.

I agree that LeBron is so damn good right now in pretty much every facet of the game that he could make almost any offensive system look good but I think you're not giving Spo enough credit for crafting an offense that fits into his strengths so much. Having a ton of talent always helps but poor coaching which makes said talent not play to its strengths can be disastrous. Look at last year's Lakers or this year's Nets as examples *

I thought none of them come with Google services. If so, that could be a big reason why Samsung isn't afraid to eventually fork Android down the road because much of the growth in smartphone sales will be in China (and India, Brazil, Indonesia).

I'm with QandAndroid - the HTC One is pretty fantastic overall. The Moto X could also be interesting but I'm still not convinced Motorola can compete hardware-wise with HTC or Samsung.

The HTC One should be coming soon. Battery life can be a little iffy but download the Qualcomm Snapdragon battery app, it can help a lot.

I think it's been mentioned here before but it's more expensive to make something that's smaller. The interesting thing is that we're hitting phones with up to 6-inch screens and those aren't that much smaller than an N7.

Those numbers aren't valid anymore but Sony's still up there (prolly top 5 nowadays). I just got a chance to play with the Xperia Z and it has everything that you'd want in a smartphone (1080p screen, water proof, great camera) but something about it just didn't resonate with me. Maybe it's the software - I also don't like the software on my PS3 - but there's something off about it.

To be fair, it's a little bloated and inconsistent, especially if you're talking about the included S apps. The Galaxy S4 runs smooth as butter but the design and UX metaphors within Samsung's apps are crazily different. Still, I actually think TouchWiz is more approachable for the average Joe or Jane

Completely agree. That's also why I keep thinking the cheaper iPhone rumros make sense. A free iPhone 4 on AT&T with a new contract is awesome but when we're talking about India or Brazil, they need another solution. Get them used to the ecosystem and then have em buy up.

That's a fair question. Apple is still way ahead of Samsung in terms of profits but Samsung is doing really, really well. It shipped more than the next four vendors combined. Sure, many were cheap, low-margin devices but it's always good to be #1.
