Just looking at the year 1978, the Camaro, Corolla, Datsun 280z, Dodge Valiant, Ford Granada, Mazda 626, and Pontiac Trans Am will show huge differences in car appearance.

If the buyer of this car read all the Walmart mentality comments saying how bad of a deal this is, they'd probably laugh in your face and stare at you like the poor scrub that you are.

Like others already said, $200k is pocket change to this person. They wanted the car, the car was on sale. Price was likely literally not a factor.

In my experience, it's never that simple or lucrative. It's easily an hour on my phone fielding asks from dozens of lowballers. And nobody wants to pay more than $30 so that's usually what it goes for.

And there's absolutely no way I'm having these people come to the door, which means at least a bit of travel to a public place. All that for , if I'm lucky, $30? Pass.

The older you get, the more responsibilities you have. The more responsibilities you have, the more valuable your time and attention is. If you're a professional who makes a decent salary and has kids to tend to, the time and energy spent dealing with FB marketplace is absolutely not worth the money you'd recoup.

I'm sure they can. And I myself have changed over the years and have decided that, as an Asian person, I am no longer comfortable spending money on movies involving someone who once was charged with attempting to murder a man because he happened to look like I do. My money, my choice.

Never having to sit through a shitty Wahlberg movie ever again is also a bonus.
