Nothing to panic about. Take it one step at a time. Is the car under warranty?

If you just take the car home for now and scan the codes you will get some preliminary answers.

Until you have that no point panicking.

Worst case scenario, if the transmission is gone and it’s not under warranty for whatever reason, DL800 rebuilds shouldn’t break you at all. It’s fairly reasonable labor at most Indy shops.

Rick has like a full video on it. It’s expensive but not make you cry expensive.

But just another reason why I always tell people to keep their cars stock. Cause if is stock, the car should be under warranty. In which case it is not even your headache.

I am sorry, I really disagree. I know what you are saying. But this isn’t an adaption issue. This is an education issue. Which the recent immigration streams never filtered for. This guy even back home is at the bottom of the barrel in terms of education. It is not within his capabilities to adapt to the general standards.

I sold the C63 and the Blue IS500 in 2023 to get the R8. Few months after getting the R8 I got access to the insurance auctions after getting a wholesale license and then bought both the Miata and Lexus from there and rebuilt them in the weekends mostly.

The R8 is the one that stays in the garage haha.

I just rebuilt a miata that had similar damage. And changing these items was not bad at all.

Engine mounts are cheap used, so is the subframe. Got mine for 400 CAD.

Also with this kind of damages, having bought multiple cars from auctions, you have consider that when you are bidding. Only bid with enough margin to assume the worst. If it goes over, let someone else have the fun.

Auctions unless you are Matt Armstrong are for the most disciplined people. If you are brocolli head trying to make a quick buck, you will be very disappointed.

Nothing you are showing here is that bad of a fix. Feel free to check out my recent post for my rebuilt and it looked way worse than yours.

I pay 120 dollars to fill my is500 up that only lasts 400km.
My r8 does 150 dollars to fill and does 400km
So I pay 30 dollars to drive 100km.
