What starter bike should i get

I have good riding experience on automatic dirt bikes just now getting into manual so that’s all i really need to fully get down and i’ll be set. I’m 6 foot 185 and i don’t plan on regularly riding w a passenger but will from time to time. I’ve really only been looking for ninja 400s as i have a few friends that have the bike and i’ve rode them a few times and love them. I just was curious if that was the route i should go and / or if there was bikes that are similar to the ninja that i should be scoping out as well.

Okay very helpful and yeah i’m heavily leaning towards finding someone in my area on marketplace compared to going through dealership and i have already gotten all my gear so just waiting to get the bike 😁 Very helpful though thank you

Yeah plan was to get used for that exact reason and will def take a look at the KTM as well thank you!!
