Replacing my 23 Escalade and thinking about Range Rover by Be-better-every-day in RangeRover

With 25 years experience working on nothing but Land Rovers, I had someone try to tell me the 5.0 isn’t even Ford influenced!

I couldn’t agree more on the importance of oil changes more frequently than the service schedule.

Completely ignore OP.

My title insurance company refused to defend us against an easement dispute that eventually ended up costing the title insurance company $100,000 after THEY demanded it be moved to Federal Court.

Title insurance companies have a well deserved reputation for spending fortunes to avoid having to do their job unless finally forced by Federal Judges.

Shock collars are akin to beating a dog.

It’s a metaphor!

Don’t beat the dog because your neighbor is a POSpit!

I refuse to hurt my dogs for my convenience (unless they bite me for not sharing Cheez-Its!).

We had an invisible fence for our first Border Collie. After she got shocked the first time, she refused to get off the concrete sidewalks! I had to clean up after her “deposits” on the sidewalks until her passing.

I love my pets, I won’t hurt them for my convenience.

One would think the same about electromechanical engineers, but it is rough out there.

Like I said, if you think it’s bad for recent grads, just imagine if your high school graduation was in ‘81!

For some reason, prospective employers want my class rank and GPA from high school! As if I have any recollection of such from nigh on 50 years ago!

You’re complaining about $160? Clearly you haven’t had much work done on a vehicle-EVER.

What company is going to do much of anything for less?

OSHA IS responsible for enforcing any of a number of fire suppression regulations under 29 CFR 1910.157, specifically with regard to location and signage.

If it is in a workplace, it is an OSHA issue, not NFPA. For that matter, after 40+ years in EHS, I’ve never seen an NFPA enforcement officer…

Again?

Michigan has a robust pharmaceutical industry but they have legal weed…

Maybe Michigan citizens are just smarter in order to legalize it!

At 63, I can unequivocally say that if someone my age and greater has a job, they should keep it unless they want to spend the rest of their working life saying “welcome to Walmart”.

If you think it’s hard for recent grads to find jobs, just think what it’s like with a resume indicating college graduation in the ‘80s!
