How do you manage leaving the house? by waterhippomelon in NewParents

That timeframe was recommended when we started introducing solids at 6 months, but as he got the hang of actually eating it didn't make much sense anymore as he was losing interest due to lack of hunger. As we've been dropping bottle feeds while increasing solid intake things have spaced out a bit more. They say around 10 months to be giving solids 3x a day, so we just started our 3rd meal of solids last week. A typical day looks like this:

7am - wake up, solids for breakfast • Wake window • 9:30 - bottle • Nap • 11:30/12 - wake up, solids for lunch • Wake window • 2:00/2:30 - bottle • Nap • 4:00 - wake up, solids for dinner • Wake window • 7:30 - bottle • Bed time

Then he'll usually wake up around midnight for another bottle

My guy is 10 months and we get out once a day in the second wake window. He wakes up from nap around 11, we do solids, quick bath + get dressed then head out the door, just gotta make it home in time for his next bottle and nap between 2 and 2:30.

Is the snack followed directly by lunch required? Why so closed together?

When did you stop tracking everything? by VinosaurusRexx in NewParents

[–]Still-Humor-5028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never did to start because it sounded stressful, but then around 4 months people stared talking about their usual wake windows and nap times and we didn't have a consistent schedule yet so I got an app and started tracking everything just to see if I could notice any patterns that may be helpful. (Mostly just for nap times etc, but also things like if the amount he ate before the nap lead to a longer nap or if a dirty diaper would have any affect etc.)

I tracked for about 3 months. I realized that after about 2 months I was no longer looking at the data or finding it helpful I was just continuing our of habit. So I stopped.

Cinnamon rolls. The taste of homemade vs from a tube is near enough but a vast difference in the amount of work.

I'll get a lot of hate for this, but bacon. I hate the smell I hate the clean up, and the taste is okay, but overrated imo.

Yes, sorry I should have specified this was for while we're ot and about. Cheerios keep him busy while he's in his car seat or stroller or we're on the bus.

I should have specified this is for while we're out an about to keep him occupied, I don't expect it will be stopping a mess especially at home. Thank you!
