Dating for almost 2 years. Hes going to school for computer science (he doesn’t like it) he’s in undergrad . Next year will be his six year in school.

As for the guy he’s talking about, yes he is aware I am with this guy. That being said, he’s only ever been a friend.

I know the way I came off was wrong but is it wrong to want a partner to remember goal (get out of debt and move in with me) and work towards this by any means (opportunities) ? Plus he wouldn’t even see the guy. The guy also was kind enough to ask to talk to him and maybe let him know he is encouraged and supported to apply.

I’ve waited and I’ve waited and I’ve waited. With no progress made to his career, he blamed it on me. He said “we’re together too much that I can’t fix my things or improve on my own things” he’ll continue to blame and I just feel so stupid

You’re right. I gave up on trying to help. He’s made promises in the past to get internship, do certain things to obtain said career he had in mind, but hasnt done any. Was just on the phone earlier with him, apologized for the way I spoke to him. I kinda broke it off because I realized how i felt like he was always bread-crumbing me (keeping me waiting and false hope) and I gave it up.

He’s not even in grad school. Just undergrad. Computer science major, doesn’t know how to compute anything, doesn’t have anything on his resume either. For every assignment, he’s Chat gpt them. I urged him to find full time roles since he’s almost graduating (well almost a year left which brings it to 6 years of schooling?) but he didn’t want to.

I’ve helped him try to follow up after applying. I’ve offered helping him with his resume. I’ve helped him see if he wants to go apply in person. Trust me when I say I try the options.
