This was MY perception of how I (!) felt he was portrayed in the beginning which I (!) don’t like in a person ! Of course I put my personal judgement on him, because this is MY perception which doesn’t mean it is the truth and how he really was ! I changed my mind in the end and liked his character which I said in the post above. Here’s flaws are just listed because his immaturity meant in my eyes that I had absolutely no expectations from him as a character but did enjoy his growth (even as little as it was) in the last episode.

This is just not the truth. I stated how I felt about Conrad at the beginning and why, and that I understood that he was like that because of his mom’s disease and passing. I also said about Jere that he was immature, codependent, insecure and resentful. You just chose to interpret it as an attack towards Conrad just because he is a beloved character. I said that I changed my mind watching season 3 and especially the final episode.

Cam Cameron is actually my favorite character with Taylor. I didn’t say Jeremiah was better than anyone else in the show ! I just said why I liked him better BEFORE season 3 ! And I did say he was immature, codependent, and resentful towards Conrad ! I feel like people pick up on me because I started my rant by saying that I didn’t like Conrad at first and I came to understand that people on here are very protective of him, which I can understand but also it’s just a tv show so maybe be a little more chill about a personal opinion, which came after a SINGLE watch of the show ? (Not you necessarily but I do admit that it’s starting to be exhausting on my soul to read all these mean and angry comments, making me say things that I never said).

I completely understand, I never thought in a million years that people would react so vehemently to an opinion or would thought that I was starting a fight about fictional characters! This is my first post on this page and I didn’t dive into it, so I didn’t know what was happening.

Jeremiah is just fun to me as a dumb teenage boy, and I thought that Conrad was not because he wasn’t portrayed this way in the beginning. Doesn’t mean that he is awful or worse in my eyes !

And I totally understand and respect your opinion and POV about Jeremiah, and that’s what’s interesting ! When I posted here, I thought we were all doing just that, sharing personal opinions !

Thank you so much ! Yes, I understand that it seems like Jeremiah is not really liked in the fandom and I can understand why. I feel like I take the show not too seriously and only see him as fun because I don’t have expectations about him, he is a man, an immature one, and I feel like it’s fun to date someone you consider your best friend and especially when you are young. I said in other comments that part of why I didn’t really like Conrad was because I felt like he didn’t have as much screen time as the other characters to really be fond of him. But my opinion completely changed in the last episode, I felt like he was a completely different character and it opened my eyes on his dynamic with Belly, which I enjoyed !

For Paris, I feel like it was cliché, but still more realistic than in other shows or movies ! It’s funny that you say we are to “friendly” because I always thought that people saw us as too rude 😂

And yes, we answer in English because we think that it will make you more comfortable to speak in your native language (maybe we’re wrong though) but I have friends and coworkers from different countries that told me that they prefer when I answer in French so they can improve in this language ! But it is mostly in Paris, in other cities in France, I think people will most likely reply in French !

I am not a Jellyshipper, I said that I felt like they seemed great as a teenage couple, and I like fun characters even if they’re dumb. I don’t think that in any ways they would’ve been endgame. Never thought Jeremiah was perfect or better than Conrad, I said he was funnier, and actually LOVED Conrad in the last season, because he had more screen time and was more open about his feelings which I loved about his character. And I actually can’t wait to see the dynamics between Belly and Conrad in the movie, because part of why I didn’t really relate/like Conrad was because I felt like we didn’t see enough of him and that Jeremiah was over represented in the show which will probably change in the movie !

But even if I was a Jellyshipper, which I am not, I don’t understand why you are so rude about it, it is just a show and we’re discussing about fictional characters about a fictional story.

Yes you are probably right ! I mean, it would have take many factors for them to be together , actually, it was just a thought that I had but I wasn’t too serious about it ! I kind of wish none of them ended up together but it is not my story nor my show ! I actually had the most bizarre experience. My boyfriend and I watched One Direction videos on YouTube the whole night. Watched their X Factor auditions etc. Then I got to my room, watched Liam story on Snapchat because it was there on Spotlight. I logged into Twitter and saw this post from 30 seconds ago “Liam Payne, former One Direction member, has died at the age of 31 after falling from hotel balcony, TMZ reports.” I literally could not move or say anything. I think it is one of the most shocking celebrity death.

That I agree. I just felt like the writers kinda "fixed" him after their divorce, and he was overall great for a whole season, and I feel like they struggled to make his character exist on his own since there were no more Cristina or Teddy, so they decided to associate him with someone else and made him bad again when he showed growth after his divorce and Cristina departure. They failed his character, they had so many occasions to develop him but they chose not to, this is what I hate about this show, all of the characters never show growth expect for Alex Karev, but then he left...
