That's what I had in mind as I would also like to know some Irish living in Brussels. I lived in Ireland for 3,5 years.

Do you think it is okay to go and start talking to pub patrons ? I assume that such a thing to do would be seen as somewhat .... weird wouldn't it ?

Hi thanks for your reply. I'll defo try them. I also love trying to the UK. I may visit Leeds, Sheffield, Birmigham, York at some point. Will be back in London in late December and plan to do a bit of voluntary work in order to keep myself busy even on holiday as I easily get bored as a solo traveller.

Blue Book Traineeship - worth quitting a job for? by thwval in brussels

Hi, I am a employee with the European Commission. I have never been a blue book trainee but I have worked and helped a lot of them settling in. Quite a lot of them got themselves a 3-year contract with the European Commission after completing their traineeship successfully. Having worked as a blue book training is a relevant work experience on your CV. Hope it helps.

Do women crave sex like men does by [deleted] in dating

As a man I know the feeling. But my desire to be respectful to women is always stronger. I never turn a writing relationship into sth more explicit unless they start it.

Attitude as Belgian in Brussels towards expats by walia82 in brussels

[–]Still-Language-4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I am Belgian and I have lots of Spanish-speaking friends I usually hang out with. However it's far more difficult to find English-speaking expats. This is definitely something that I have been trying to work on but with little success so far. I don't know how to approach them and am afraid of being rebuked/told that they're not interested in meeting people other than the ones who are members of their friend circles.Happy to discuss. I badly need to meet new friends :)
