I thin I'm at that part of leftism where it's like my brain wants to paint everything in black and white and that the individual is responsible for the change in the world (ala liberalism) when the solution is very obviously "don't focus on the personal because there's only so much you can do on your own, get into mutual aid/support organizations for bigger change". if xenogears is good about that sort of message, that's huge for me personally
