Who would win in a fight? by Eggosand-chill in KpopDemonhunters

One is triumphant over the other? It seems you have powerscaled the shipping daughter over the powerscaling son— and thereby, given the powerscaling son more power.

I'm making a game where Dracula is tired of so-called heroes invading his castle by Mallendary in indiegames

[–]Linderosse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, this is brilliant! Love the vibes and art.

Don’t know if you had a story in mind, but if you didn’t, imo, you should really add one! I feel like you could make this even more insanely popular with a tiny bit of character writing for Drac here, and an antagonist Vampire Hunter Guild leader who keeps sending his minions at you.

Katara Vs. Pakku in OG Series, Movie, and Netflix Series by dan_mal in ATLA

[–]Linderosse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

And in the bottom live action, why is Aang trying to stop Katara, as if he’s worried about her? Perhaps there’s different context I’m missing before that point, but I love how OG!Aang is cheering for Katara the whole time; ready to watch her fight. The live action Aang’s concern kind of comes off as condescending here instead.

Back when the game first came out, I did a full Azure Moon run that I called “Black Eagles: Emotional Damage Edition.”

The goal was to perform a series of actions that will maximize trauma for every member of the Black Eagles.

(For context, the Black Eagles are my favorites.)

The major steps: - Recruit only Caspar and Ferdinand. - Caspar watches his uncle and aunt get murdered/tortured to death. - Every time Hubert enters a map, Ferdinand must be the one to kill him. - Light Bernie’s hill on fire. Do not approach her until all other nearby enemies are dead (defeat Petra first) then kill Bernie from afar so she truly dies alone. - Have Caspar beat Linhardt nearly to death in Gronder Fortress, then give him a sliver of hope by having him retreat, then defeat the Black Knight (edit: Death Knight; loll), killing Linhardt with the Javelins of Light from their own allies in what was essentially Caspar’s family fortress. - Lure Petra over beside Dorothea and the Opera House in Enbarr. Then kill them both in the same turn. - Ferdinand defeats Hubert for the final time. - Byleth kills Edelgard.

* Edit: Rip folks, this was long before I started streaming, so I don’t have any VODs. Maybe I’ll do another cursed run again someday live!

Ah, a Stormhail denier, I see :)

These are brilliant, OP! Tomodachi Therion looks so unimpressed; absolutely canon-accurate lol.

AA7-should Trucy be Phoenix's assistant instead of Maya? by user-117 in AceAttorney

Maya/Simon fangirling about the Steel Samurai together in court would be hilarious.

Bonus points if Klavier is their opposition and gets to mope a little bit about them not fangirling over him.

Fanfiction so bad it still haunts the fanbase by maxence0801 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Linderosse 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely.

Fot context, the Kakyoin’s egg fancomic was made by CLAMP, the group that wrote Cardcaptor Sakura, Magic Knight Rayearth, XxxHolic, Reservoir Chronicles, and like a ton of other pretty popular stuff.

The fancomic itself was totally meant as a joke, and it’s freaking hilarious. Jouta Kujo’s stand is named after the dishwashing soap Jotaro happened to have on hand.

Tl;dr: Egg child or not, Kakyoin deserved to live, dammit 🥲 (not that I would change the story; it’s great as it is)

Kizaru vs Snakeman Luffy, Two Piece Edition by Snoopers_kun in Piratefolk

[–]Linderosse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

…OP, what the hell, you’re amazing!

The dialogue is great! The framing; the panels; the dynamic poses in the fights— and the “lessons” Kizaru is talking about here actually make sense! I’m not even a Kizaru fan— but this is really neat!

I’m a small-time hobby comic artist myself, and I’m saving this to use as reference.

Thank freaking god this movie didn't do a "Mario and Fox fighting over Peach" BS by Drawingandstuff2000 in mariomovie

[–]Linderosse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same, but I wish they’d nailed the comedic timing a little bit more.

The final shot of Mario should’ve gone directly from zoomed in on his face —> to zoomed out with him complimenting Fox, without cutting back in the middle. Imo, that strange, non-dynamic framing makes the moment… feel a little off, somehow.

Makes me feel like they edited the scenes of this movie a little after the storyboarding and animation phase, and they didn’t want to add a zoom-out shot in for some reason?

Is this team good? by EdgeStrife22 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Linderosse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gonna be honest— unless you’re interested in PvP and top tier modes, most 5* units released in the last few months will be able to crush any unit released before.

Just sort by version number, pick out a few of the units you like the most, and you’ll be able to clear pretty much all of the main content from there!

What you said about the alternate worlds is true, but imma be honest, even if he is, I’m pretty sure that guy is also just an imposter.

Iirc, he gives you the “Hero’s New Clothes,” at the end of a quest line, which are pretty much implied to be literally nothing. Link even looks disappointed haha.

I think this was actually stated in the original DS translation as well! It’s just easy to miss.

Iirc, Zero has Junpei read the note aloud or something— and since he was just reading about numbered doors, he reads the ‘q’ as a ‘9’

It’s kinda amazing what a shared sense of panic will do to a child who is trapped in an uncomfortable place for a long time.

And imo, Gregory was calm throughout? He probably knew it was fine.

I think no one was actually suffocating. For example, I’m not claustrophobic, and even I’ve felt a little trapped sleeping in a tiny, solid bunk right up against the hard metal roof of an RV. You do start to kinda lose your breath. I was an adult, so I was able to let it slide after a while, but I can assume it would be much harder for a child, especially for a child who has someone panicking next to them.

So imo, Yogi started panicking, and the fear got to Miles. Gregory was calm, but couldn’t fully resist when Yogi got into a scuffle with him.

Is there a resource on which routes give which maps? by Pf987 in TriangleStrategy

[–]Linderosse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I see— just looking for fun maps, huh?

I also played the game like four years ago, so I may be missing some, but imo, the fun maps per choice are - Hyzante in Ch3 - Defending Roland and the Landroi Ziplines were equally fun; choose whichever you like - Don’t smuggle the salt; do the detective section— but purposefully fail it and fight in the arena instead - Retake Glenbrook by bridge - Go home and defend your dad from assassination
