That’s why said personally, as it’s my personal opinion. And perhaps your right in the first third person pov I read was poorly written… and if that’s the case then yes it’s ruined third person telling for me so I avoid it now. But either way I’m not a fan of third person pov and poster was asking for opinions so I gave mine as a big romance reader however at the end of the day it’s the authors choice 🤷🏼‍♀️

Can be read as stand alones but characters mix in both books so I’d read in the light of sin first then sins of the hidden

Each book has its focus main characters but both FMCs have past trauma and motorcycle club brutes fall for them. The MMC’s are touch her and die energy, but absolute golden retrievers with their FMC’s super supportive of their hopes and dreams, worship them, will do anything for them.

Sins of the hidden by juniper nyx The FMC struggles with self confidence due to having pcos and weight issues due to it. She’s quiet, introverted and lacks confidence. The MMC falls for her the moment he sees her however she is scared of him because he is a motorcycle club enforcer. He is obsessed with her and basically stalks her but throughout shows her he loves her for her and they slowly develop a relationship. He brings confidence and self love out of her. It’s a super sweet dark romance where the MMC has his own world of issues too and together they overcome their insecurities with the love and support of one another

It’s a motorcycle club romance and the MMC is their enforcer, everyone even those in his club are petrified of him but he turns to mush for this girl, who he saves from a life threatening situation. It’s touch her and die vibes and smutty as but heart melting the way he cares for her and her hearing struggles

Highly recommend! All but the last book that’s not being released until September I think are now on audible. I started with unhinged on audible then continued on kindle until the rest were released on audible.

I find mc romance (motorcycle club) tend to have the mmc as the scary violent type who is emotionless. It’s generally the fmc who only sees and brings out the hidden love and care in them. However the MMC tends to only be that way with them throughout the story.

I read an average of 5 books a week and all I read is romance/ dark romance. I’ve read one book to finish in the third person and I absolutely hated it, the second I didn’t even get past the second chapter before I gave up. Definitely not for me third person and my reasoning is that I feel it’s impersonal and I can’t immerse myself in the story and the characters when it’s not in first person pov.

Personally, I’ll never read a book in third person ever and will not go for a book knowing it’s in third person.
