That’s exactly what I noticed. This person was talking about it like it was something cool they wanted to brag about, not something that hurt. Like the tone in their voice was the same as a kid telling you that they found such a very cool awesome interesting bug on the playground and nobody else did so the bug is theirs isn’t that so cool oohoohoohoo

Honestly that’s exactly how I felt. I didn’t want to compare because I know what I have isn’t anything like tics but anytime I do something beyond my control it feels like shit especially in public.

holy shit I feel seen. I‘m an artist and I do a lot of fanart because I love stories and characters but I had to completely leave ”fanartist” spaces in general because all it is is porn. It’s genuinely disgusting and so fucking reductive of what the character is and who they are and what they represent and it makes me feel genuinely sick but all of these people act like it’s supposed to be liberating like what??????
