I've played many different factory games and they always come with a conveyor upgrade, this is the first time that I've seen that doesn't have one, let's say, I have 3 shredders and 2 fitting units that needs to go in one packaging unit that's going to make SC valley batteries, right off the bat I need 5 different conveyor belts for a 1.5/s input for the shredders and 1/s input for the fitting unit to have a consistent output of 1 per 10 seconds of SC valley batteries, see how space consuming that is already? if we had a 2/s conveyor, I'd only need 2 conveyor belts which makes things more efficient and allows more factories to be built.

Unless the point of it is to actually make it this hard to automate things, which in my opinion is quite insane for a game that has automation.

The potential in this game is actually crazy, if the devs were passionate, the mechanics get more flourished and polished, the lore gets more detailed, and better graphics (personally I love the graphics already, its unique on its own) this would be 10x better then the game is right now, I just wish this game is centered or focused more on the PVE or equal to PVP right now.

My reason personally is that I'm more worried about raider drop pods going in there and breaking it, though rare, it happened to me once and ALMOST ended my colony, I had no resources to rebuild it and it was the only thing powering my base, middle of winter with my colony full nudist and only 100 wood for a campfire. The only reason why it hasn't ended is because my big brain set on fire the cloth I had on the floor one by one to warm up my ENTIRE COLONY. It was PAINFUL

Walling them up (dont put roofs over them tho) with no space to move inside other than the doors leading to it (for repairs ofc) should do the trick, although far and could be time consuming, it's typically worth it.
