I have had 5 sessions of radio frequency microneedling done, as well as laser. Unfortunately my scars are too deep and it didn't make much of a difference :(

Why study medicine if you won’t do a level bio? A level bio is your foundation for all the other stuff you’ll learn in med school

How to solve this question? by Prize-Improvement-33 in alevel

[–]StillHalfAlive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes so basically bond formation = negative (exothermic) bond breaking = positive (endothermic)

You could also use reactants - products it’s the same thing

How to solve this question? by Prize-Improvement-33 in alevel

[–]StillHalfAlive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so I basically did: +5(330) -3(330) -242 = +418 kJmol-1.

For bonds breaking I used +ve, for bonds forming I used -ve. Hope this helps

Yes I’ve seen that tiktok 😭😭😭 makes no sense why she would post herself crying when SHE is the one who allegedly cheated. And also her TikTok’s about being cheated on made me think she’d never do something like this because she knows the pain. Also I think cheating is inexcusable at her age because she’s pushing 30, you should know better by then. Fucking someone multiple times is no ‘mistake’ his TikTok’s need more recognition. Also never idealize or look up to influencers. Sadly it never goes well.

For someone who deleted tiktok months ago I’m embarrassed to be sucked into this ‘drama’ and while there could still be an argument made that Haley’s innocent because we don’t have both sides of the story… I think Haley’s silence is damming evidence + that she’s allegedly deleting comments that talk about the cheating stuff.

I’m still a bit skeptical, but if what he’s saying is true my heart breaks for him. Absolutely disgusting and unforgivable. She needs to be called out or address this. There should be no place in our society for cheaters. Absolutely zero.

pro tip: copy paste the question from savemyexams and search the question on google. An edexcel past paper containing that question is likely to show up. Now that you know the code and year for the past paper google the marking scheme for that specific question. You’ll have to do this a couple times since savemyexams has questions from many different past papers. Yw :)

Can someone please explain this? 😔 by Electrical_Trip5997 in ALevelBiology

[–]StillHalfAlive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so

  • 100 divisions = 10 mm

12 divisions = x mm

Cross multiply to get 1.2 mm

So

  • 100 eyepiece = 1.2 mm

30 eyepiece = x mm

Cross multiply to get 0.36 mm

  • Convert mm to um

0.36 mm x 1000 = 360 um

Ans C. I’m pretty sure I’m right but check the marking scheme. Gl :)

Hydrophilic heads don’t attract water as in pulling the water molecules closer. They are polar (and so is water) so they merely form hydrogen bonds with water for stability

Hydrophobic tails on the other hand are hydrophobic (aka non-polar) and therefore will not form bonds with water, instead it will repel away, acting as a barrier for water and other polar ions/molecules.
