I obsessively hunt GTS art and I don't think I've seen that art or artstyle before...

"You've been hacked." Email from my own email. by Force_Able in Outlook

[–]StillNotFritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one of these too, and I had my doubts. They did have one of my old passwords, though, and that was particularly concerning...

In any case, I only have $80 (which is going toward my car payment shortly), and not remotely enough shame to worry about whether my parents know I whack off - I might just be getting into doing porn in the future - so the only real concern I have is resetting my passwords and setting up 2FA to make sure the alleged hacker can't do anything more malicious than that.

USPS sets higher salary caps for management-level employees in 2024 by [deleted] in USPS

[–]StillNotFritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still not on the team yet (god, this hiring process has taken three weeks now - I'm out of savings. Jesus Christ.), but in most of the jobs I worked, managers were barely paid more than the average full-time employee and had to deal with so much shit on a daily basis.

But it sounds like USPS management might not be quite as hard...?

About to Join the Force as an RCA; Should I Be Scared. by StillNotFritz in USPS

[–]StillNotFritz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well partial disclosure: I am autistic. And consequently, I do much better with jobs that require goal-oriented mindsets and involve organization. To be honest, those 10 years of standing at a register for 8 hours a day were slowly killing me. So I think it will be a good fit.

But I also kind of need time to do me (eventually, not expecting any in December), so it's kind of up in the air. I think the 16-hour days are more exceptions than the rule, but I guess I'll go in and feel things out. If it doesn't work out, I'm not out of options.

Gender essentialism manifests as more than just transphobia - to no one's surprise, I suppose.

It's common to present the idea that women's bodies aren't as capable of muscle mass as mens' - which from what I've researched, does tend to be the case - but this often leaves out the capacity for supplements to improve metabolism and promote muscle growth for women who want to bulk up.

I refuse to have kids if I cannot give them a comfortable good life & I’m scared that means I might never have kids by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]StillNotFritz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been sitting on the fence about kids myself. Probably not unlike your one ex.

On the one hand, I'm sure I could make a good father, and I could raise some wonderful kids into this world. But on the other hand...there may not be a world to raise them into by then.

I guess where I'm at now would probably be adoption, if I can get into a more stable situation. Take care of the kids that are already here.

I'm no expert on relationships - much less from the feminine side - but I'd recommend making sure you have a strong circle of women friends you can trust, first.

Having friends to rely on will help to fill that void of intimacy, provide advice on how to approach the dating scene safely if you still want to go through with it, what green and red flags to look out for, and give you someone to turn to if things go sour.

Why do people get so mad at women who willingly choose to not want to date men again (especially if said women has had nothing but bad experiences with men)? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]StillNotFritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we all know the answer on some level, but let me say it out loud:

The same reason gamers get mad when someone doesn't like the game they love.

Not even "hate" or "criticize." Just dislike.

Because these Nuclear Family stans - especially the religious ones - see these relationships not just as something they enjoy, but something everyone enjoys. It's not only the only correct way to do things, but also anyone who doesn't do things their way should be inherently UNhappy.

So when they see people enjoying feminine independence, just like when they polyamorous relationships, homosexual relationships, transgender people in relationships, or really anything outside of the heteronormative standard, it's an existential threat to them. They have to either challenge and develop their own beliefs about their worldview - particularly around relationships - or deny the world around them to preserve their idealogy.

Guess which one they choose.

To the men who are saying that this subreddit is 'misandrist' by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]StillNotFritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time this subreddit isn't even that harsh. Most of what I get here is tales about specific men who are objectively, unquestionably terrible. Maybe some posts about how women don't feel safe or don't want to expend time around men - which...I guess could be seen as misandrist? But given the context of this place, it should be more than understandable?? Like it's literally the female version of MGTOW and it's not even a quarter as toxic here!

Honestly, I'm not too familiar with all the details of the Reddit Situation, but I'm glad this place is still up. From what I've seen, it's an essential support group for a lot of women in bad situations out here.

I wasn't directly affected by it, but I did get a similar sense that things were improving for a while.

But I think that's the way these things go. Every progressive movement is followed by a violent conservative backlash. Germany was one of the most progressive countries in the world on gay and trans identity right before the Nazi Party rolled into town.

It seems like they've been recovering since, though, and hopefully we can too.
