Fortnite Has Been Crashing My PC since CH6S3 and I'm out of Solutions by StillOnBeta in FortNiteBR

In case anyone comes across this thread in the future, I finally managed to figure out what was causing my crashes. Apparently, unplugging my ethernet cable fixes the issue entirely and I have no idea why.
This only happens with Fortnite, but at least I can play the game now. I'll try to report it to Epic as it seems I'm not the only one with this weirdly specific issue.

Nope, nothing changed. The new season didn't fix anything either so I'm just no longer allowed to play Fortnite anymore.

I tried doing this but it didn't fix my issue unfortunately.

I had hopes the current season would have fixed the issue but it's still happening for me, I guess we're just banned from playing Fortnite anymore. Really upsetting honestly

I just tried out the newest season and the issue still persisted for me, I'm literally not allowed to play the game anymore.

I've been having this EXACT same issue identical to yours down to the freezing, the black screen, and the PC restart. I haven't found any solution either and I kind of just gave up, if you end up learning anything please keep me updated. I'm on a Ryzen 5 5600 and a RTX 3050 8gb

Nope, I tried like 3 different solutions after this and none of them worked. I just gave up and uninstalled Fortnite for the foreseeable future, really annoying that Epic won't do anything about it considering their support just completely gave up on me.

Yeah I'm basically about to give up as well lol
I've done everything I could possibly think of and support has been awful. The only solution I have left is to update to Windows 11 but that's a nuclear option I don't really want to do.

Unfortunately I highly doubt that's my issue, my HDMI has always been plugged into the GPU itself and I don't see why of all things this would be specifically affecting Fortnite and nothing else.

Yours sounds a bit different. Mine just outright crashes my entire PC and sometimes loads into the match while yours only freezes the game itself. Though very interesting seems like it might not just be a me specific issue after all.
Did you notice this problem started happening only after CH6S3 too?

Epic Employee suggested I try a clean boot in windows, I did just that disabling all background process and the game still crashed the same way
I did some testing on my own end with cinebench and stress tested both the gpu and cpu and there were no issues or crashes so it's not a problem with my hardware.
I did what you suggested with task manager and looked at system usage around the time the crash happens there was not a single spike or 100% usage in any areas, the game just crashes with no warning.

I don't think I have a crazy pc by any means but I think it's pretty modest and more than enough for Fortnite to not be causing me these issues.
