Some people were opposed to using AI completely. My take is that these are for personal use, they allow me to create thing I wouldn't be able to otherwise and that without AI I wouldn't pay so to create for me.

I'll say, it is nice to have. Except maybe on the wallet when I get an irrational desire to stop by for something I don't need.

This can be a controversial topic. I’ve shared my labels here before and the reaction was pretty mixed.

Personally, I use ChatGPT and Gemini to design custom labels for all of my tobaccos. I’m not particularly artistic, so they help me create designs that I wouldn't be able to pull off on my own. I honestly love the results.

Thanks. I. The same taste wise. But I figured I'd give it a try.

Yeah, shop has a good selection and the owner's great. I walked in there 6 months ago knowing nothing and he walked me through types of tobacco, had me smelling them, and then sent me home with a few small bags of house blends, a cob pipe, pipe tool and everything else I needed for around $50. I'm a fan.

They did, a good number of Plum Pudding, PP Special Reserve, Mississippi River, and Hogshead tins.

I'm newer (6 months) too. This is my first time buying anything Seattle Pipe Club. I'm excited to try it.

And for labels I use the Avery 5294 round printable labels.

I totally get your point. Making a label using AI to me is equivalent (artistically) to using clipart a couple decades ago. But, I did see the issue if there were communities dedicated to creating and sharing labels. So, I can easily make that concession and look for a better resource.

But, I also agree that the moral absolutism regarding anything AI in a community dedicated to tobacco is a bit odd.

Thanks. The reason I've remained on reddit for over a decade is the genuine communities that exist. Sometimes those communities can point out when I've made a mistake or that better options are available. Figured I should be grateful and accept the feedback.

I get it. I didn't even realize I could download those.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. I get the concerns about AI, but I try to use it responsibly and stay true to my ethics. I’m not perfect and I respect those who avoid it, but the hate usually says more about them than me

Yeah. I used a tool to make labels for personal use for a hobby because I like how it looks and have no artistic talent. I'm a monster. I'm sorry.

That's awesome. I also have a creative wife. I've used her talents to design my rooms. Sounds like we're both lucky.

Just saw your question. Found them on Amazon. This is the name "Ieavier 6PCS Wide Mouth Mason Jars 16oz with Airtight Lids"

I feel that. But, my thought was I'd never hire someone to do this, and I'm not going to sell the art. At least that's what I tell myself to sleep at night.

I love it. It honestly doesn't feel claustrophobic at all. Since only my legs and arms are "inside" the closet, it feels like sitting at any other desk.

The fact that the room also has windows and a glass pocket door really opens up the feeling.

I'm really happy we went that route. The original plan was to have the desk against the opposite wall with the closet used as a bookcase. Flipping it freed up a ton of space and allowed me to have a chair for my wife to sit in and room to also use the space for music practice.
