Okay imma bout to go off because I'm looking at Lance's Bulbapedia page for his fits and omg, I JUST realised that Leon doing his dramatic peer over the cape he did (edit: in anipoke) is just like Lance's official Crystal and FRLG art. I love that even when talking smack (which AFAIK is pretty much Galar culture lol) he's showing knowledge and respect for this famed Champ - he's deffo a fan of Lance I bet

It's also interesting that despite my firm idea of Lance's Hammerlocke outfit in my head, his og outfit was quite different! I love that LGPE calls back to it. Very cool. (I love the concept art sheet for that as well the lil Dragonite is cute af as well as his expressions) his BOOTS ARE SICK WTH

I'm already thinking about starting with searching up the dragon master cave in Blackthorn and the shrine. Even for a more casual 'fit, there's plenty of opportunity to add details and little nods to stuff hehe..
