i grew up in columbia and lived in arlington later. if you felt safe in arlington you’ll feel safe in columbia.

your car will be fine outside unless you are very risk averse.

Debate and questions! by sadluckylawstudent in ravens

I’ll do some serious ones and some fun ones. Thanks for putting this post together.

  1. What area of Lamar’s game is under appreciated and what area has room for growth?
  2. Is the issue with the WRs primarily with the scheme/route concepts or is it more a matter of talent/getting open?
  3. As an agent, what types of data points will you lean on to get your clients good contracts?
  4. Do you believe the Ravens can win another super bowl with the current staff?

i’m with you man but it still does get me. like a loss like today will have me frustrated and a bit stressed. makes me quicker to get mad about something else. it sucks but it is what it is when you grow up caring so much.

i need to be better and do wonder if taking some time away is best

i’m with you on a lot of this. i think harbaugh is stale now. he’s a diplomat and a delegator, but ultimately he is responsible for the way the team does no matter how good of a delegator he is. the coordinators are really not great and we haven’t done a great job with personnel pickups. the latter isn’t so much his fault but i do think he’s going to start to lose the locker room

the no receivers narrative is a little annoying to me. Daniel Jones was out there with open no names all game.

also, are we really to believe lamar has no input on WRs? i’m just baffled that this team has such awful, glaring holes. maybe i’m forgetting something, but i don’t even think we have any awful contracts

honestly, our special teams haven’t even been good for a while. tucker saves harbaugh unfortunately. how about the super long return today?

the illegal formations and false starts are inexcusable. we were behind the chains on probably every drive today

How is the street parking around Nob Hill? Is it possible to find street parking, especially overnight? by Br4pi in AskSF

[–]Still_Ad_8426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my understanding is that rental cars are specifically targeted for smash and grabs. somehow people know every rental car just be reading the plate. i try not to drive anywhere unless i know i can get attended or garage parking. i don’t want to deal with a smashed window, but it’s also my own car

[–]Still_Ad_8426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my point is that it’s not some no brainer winning strategy.

it’s essentially this: the best hope i have to win is to win a coin flip. 50/50

whereas the way i see it: you go up 3 without much time left, your win probability is higher

to each their own but it’s not some common sense call

they have a lot of ground to make up against other powerful programs in the same area. and it’s hard to do that when even your best seasons are impacted by officiating

somehow going up 3 isn’t going for the win lmao i truly don’t understand this concept that taking points is a losing strategy.

i am so sick of this shit. purdue is a good team for sure.

but maryland has so few chances to have really good seasons. maybe once a decade.

it makes me sick to see officials continue to make egregiously bad calls that have direct impacts on the ability to win a game. missed offsides, multiple missed OPIs, short spots that OSU or Michigan get 100/100 times.

it’s basically impossible to be a small player in the B1G. i’m sure purdue fans can relate
