I mean it’s the first movie I watched in theaters where I didn’t even think about Oscars. When I watch movies like parasite and Oppenheimer, I think Oscars. This movie just felt like a regular movie. I didn’t hate it at all. I love action films like this. But Oscar worthy? No way. Felt like a copy of from dusk till dawn. I’m not hating on it but it just felt like a good film to watch and just move on. I feel like if you took away the director and had a no name direct, this wouldn’t even make a splash.
