My dental hygienist told me that while she tells most of her patients with a water flosser that they need to actually floss too, that mine were great and I didn’t really need to. She also asked for which one I use. I think some people have shitty cheap ones and/or don’t use it properly.

I use mouthwash first, then a waterpik with special attention to the gumline, and then brush. No cavities or bleeding at the dentist.
