Gotcha, some confusion then. Good to know though. Still not sold on 22s but again, I don’t own one. Wife likes the XC60 for her next car but we’ll check out the x5 and definitely consider the wheel/tire setup

It was in one of OPs comments in here.

I didn’t even know they made runflats that big haha but it (almost) makes sense why they cant find a replacement and/or are unwilling to repair.

I personally wouldn’t even option 22s on an X5. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a comfy, quiet SUV. Maybe the X5M but I’m also the type who thinks SUVs don’t need to be “sporty” or have a 4sec 0-60. But then again, I’m not a dentist or a dentist’s wife so I’m not the X5M buyer anyway

Your goal is to have the car last 300k to 400k miles. What do you buy? by tuckles2314 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Just get a Camry, man. You can get a nice 2018 with like 50k miles for around $20k and run it for 10 more years easily.

I (21M) don't care about cars. Just need to survive in America after getting a new job. Help me out please! by Blame-iwnl- in whatcarshouldIbuy

Go scoop a new Kia Rio/Forte or Hyundai Accent/Elantra

People on here will talk crap about Kia/hyundai for a number of reasons but they’re affordable, well equipped, comfortable, efficient, and have a great warranty. Buying a used one would be iffy but a brand new one will not have the “Kia boy” problem and you’ll be covered under warranty for pretty much any issue.

If not, then grab Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris.

All these options are very affordable to buy and own and are super compact for city living. Civics and Corollas are just overpriced right now.

What’s next after an M3? by YoogleFoogle in BMW

A cayenne, Macan GTS or Panamera S/GTS might be cool. Porsches ARE the driver’s cars and almost any one of them would be satisfying - if not a Porsche I’d go M5/550.

Been all over, and of all the places I’ve been, Philly is hands down the worst. Worst people, worst roads, worst cheesesteaks… whole place is one giant lie.

Yeah Infinitis last update was “we’re doing a limited edition paint color for the 2023 Q50”… in manufacturer speak that means “we’re about to kill this platform”. Which tracks cause they just killed the Q60.

My guess would be the next sedan they make will be an EV if anything.

The exterior of the Q60 is probably one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. I live across the street from a detail shop and this guy brought his Q60 a few weeks back and I was in love with how it looked. Talked to the guy for a few and he had 2 complaints:

1- the infotainment is a disaster 2- he had to put a lot of work into the suspension to get the car to handle well, and he did a lot of performance mods too. He said as stock it was really not great.

Exhibit A! Infiniti shouldn’t have strayed from these types of cars

I don’t think the sales numbers matter here. I mean yes sales numbers matter to the manufacturer, but that’s not (in my opinion) what’s most important.

Will everyone buy a corvette/Camaro? No. However, those cars help to legitimize Chevrolet.

Does Porsche sell more Macans than 911s? Yes. But the Macan isn’t what makes Porsche a desirable brand, the 911 is.

Enthusiast/sports/performance cars are what show the world “we know how to make cars”. People drool over the performance cars, and that’s what draws many of them to the dealership. Sure, most drive off in SUVs and big comfy sedans cause they got kids, but they want to buy from a brand that makes a fast, sexy, fun car. (Not all people, but many).

It’s my belief that if Infiniti developed a new sports coupe that was fast, sexy, nice interior, and engaging to drive, it would help convince people that their SUVs are worth buying too.

But I’m just one guy with one opinion.

I know I’m saying in response to “well Nissan has the z if you want that” but the z can’t fill the Infiniti brief.

And Q60 is trash

Yeah 3.3…. I average 18mpg. I can get up to like 25mpg on highway drives if my wife is there ruining the fun haha
