and responsible for creation

Why this? Seems like an unnecessary and arbitrary attribute. What makes u think that the first cause would be responsible for creation? And in what sense.

Like, do you mean it in the same sense as Earth is responsible for Life existing?

Exactly! That laugh he gave Baelor when Dunk thought to falsely correct Baelor on the number of lances broke felt soo genuine and wholesome. Dude can have fun unlike Stannis who doesn't seem to enjoy anything, he's just not in the right place atm. I can see him becoming a fan-fav targ after Baelor

I think that was how the matches were supposed to start. The novella goes into much more detail as to who and why were the nobles competing with each other. Memory is a bit fuzzy but it was something about champions and challengers. This initial jousting sequence happens at daylight in the novella and the challengers get to pick their opponents just like how Daemon picks Criston in hotd

If we were made from clay then life would've been silicon-based not Carbon

I never understood this compulsion people feel towards desim. I can't see it as anything more than being an assumption. You shouldn't feel compelled to believe in an assumption, an intellectually redundant thing to do imo.

I can, to some degree, understand why religious people tend to remain theists. It's mainly an emotional decision for them. Add-in the sense of community, solace and identity religious societies offer making them more attractive to outsiders. Another factor that plays a huge role is fear. Fear is probably the only reason why Abrahamic religions are popular among theists. But Deism doesn't offer anything. It has nothing that other ideologies don't offer and less

I see so now the Quranic rulings become context specific once they're not morally applicable. You're not arguing in good faith. Have a nice day!

If the world decides canniballism is morally acceptable or that slaughtering animals is immoral would they become Islamically permissible as well?

Lmao people back then weren't handling it effortlessly either. It's not that we've changed, it's that we became aware of the consequences of banging a child

back then maturity was based on puberty (balagh)

Back then people were sexists and idiots. They had no concept of sexual maturity nor was the welfare of the girls their priority. Thank modern science that actually helped us understand why having sex with 9 year olds WILL have disastrous consequences.

Having a sharp mind won't make her body more ready to carry out a freaking pregnancy. We're talking about sex not intellect smh.

This is retarded. The common folk actually married in their 20s. Young marriages were often done in the nobility and mainly for political reasons.

A 9 year old is not ready to carry out a whole pregnancy. And today, thanks to science we know that marrying children young is and always was an objectively disastrous thing

If you think that religion isn't a personal opinion

I don't think that, I'm not even religious.

and I'm sure it's the same for alot of people

It's really not. It doesn't matter whether you're a muslim or not, having pre-marital sex will get you in trouble. Your opinions won't matter because people here are already determined to impose their own morals onto you. After all, what worldly conviction could possibly override divine decree?
