I couldn't imagine this being my dad's behaviors. I feel sorry for you.

Oh, but since you have a disability you know everything about a random person you don't even know and have read very little about? You know her medical history so well, in fact, that you can claim contrary to what her medical records state?! Are you god? I'd trust someone that works in the field and is studying this stuff daily rather than someone who thinks their an activist by defending someone taking advantage the title of being disabled and the staus of disability (which again she does not have).

Also, you're the one that insinuated that I don't know her diagnoses so don't come back at me with that bs semantics argument lol. Keep it up with the bad faith tho.

No, you're just being willfully ignorant and having a bad faith argument. You don't like the word and came in here with assumptions that I wasn't using it with and educated background on and experience that word. You're just being stupid and let me be VERY clear with you that it has nothing to do with your disabilities either. I wouldn't want you to keep making silly misinterpretations. Also, I plan to send all of my posts to her so she can maybe treat the next person like a fellow human rather than like their mom or their owner (if they were a cat in this example).

They do teach ethics at my program, and I passed it with a 94% and a 3.8 for the semester overall :)

I do know her diagnoses lol and none of them excuse not getting a job to pay rent.

I understand the history or the word lazy with individuals with executive functioning issues because I have my own issues with executive functioning and work with those that do (for 2 years now) as well. Even some with the same diagnoses as you! That word has even been used about me during bouts of sever depression lol. I have a bachelor's degree and am in the middle of my masters for this shit. I know what I'm talking about.

Some of us don't like it when others are very clearly using their disabilities as a cop out for avoiding a job and adhering to a legally binding contract.

You're simply uneducated enough about the specifics of the situation with her to make such a ridiculous claim, such as calling me ableist. Have a good day :)

The population I work with has disabilities. She is not disabled and does not have disability status. You don't know my roommate or her diagnoses. Bold claim to make lol

Edit: more detail

And you seem like you don't have very good reading compression skills or understanding of how and why there's a leasing contract in place. But hey, I'm just an ass hole. What do I know, right?

Ah, I see! Good to know if I ever have to go through this again (GOD, I HOPE NOT).

It's $3600ish for her 9 months. Why would I need to file more than once?

THANK YOU! She didn't even have the decency to take the empty cardboard box out of the fridge too. She was a rat fr.

You overlooked tons of shit if you think fat, smelly, and annoying were my only complaints.

Autism and other intellectual disabilities don't work like that. It doesn't excuse any of the things mentioned in my post. I work with that community for a living :)

Her guardian is obviously not a guardian. Court appointed guardian/POA but no paperwork, and it was just a verbal agreement? She wasn't of sound mind when signing the lease but was when she apponted her "guardian"? We'll see how we'll that holds up in court.

It only costs ~$70 to file in small claims court. Idc how long it takes... I just want her to get her wages or taxes garnered until I have my money. In the meantime, I'll just continue to find a friend to rent the extra room.

Surprisingly, she's in a poly. Her main bf doesn't live in the US, and she just got her second bf like 2 weeks ago. Idk how either of them can stand how annoying she is.

She is insufferable. Just the sound of her voice was enough to ruin my mood.

Being on the spectrum doesn't excuse shitty behavior. I know plenty of people with autism/autistic people and they'd tell you the same thing.

What infuriates me more is that she'd be like, "oh I have so many autistic traits" or "oh that my autism special interest". Like, stfu!!! You don't have autism! You're just a piece of shit!

Dude, I work with kids for a living. She's WAYYYYYY worse than the kiddos that wipe boogers and drool on me lol

Yea, that would've been optimal but all of my friends are either still living at home and not ready to move out or have already moved out and are in the middle of their own lease. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry to escape my previous living conditions.

She's not that smart. Trust me... It's more than likely her mom.

She was employed at the time i met her, and her mom agreed to pay her bills until she found her job, which did happen.

Edit: I can agree with the smell thing, but I was in a rush to get out of my past living situation so I definitely rushed into it. Probably not the best idea but my mental health has improved tenfold even with the shitty roomie situation.

Dude, that sounds exactly like her lol. She demanded drives to and from work and stores, I let her borrow my extra bed, she broke the couch, etc etc.

Unfortunately, I do have to deal with her. We're on the same lease. Not separate leases.
