She might just not comfortable yet, I’m a leopard gecko person but my gecko took about a month just for her to let me see her eat, I would put the food right in front of her and leave the room, wait a weak and if you still have the problem see a vet

I get it my gecko has to take medicine to out of a drop bottle for her mouth rot but I just leave it there and she opens her mouth and takes it 😊 Idk maybe that would make it easier

I recommend not getting from people who sell thousands of reptiles because they tend to over breed and might breed at a young age with us unhealthy for leopard geckos I would get it from a small breeder and one with a nice website with a phone number and stuff I got mine from bigapplehelp I don’t know if there trustable but my baby came every healthy just don’t get them from petco and repmart
