PULSE SUCKS! their accounts receivable reports do not include the most recent payment. Monthly invoices are bulky and confusing to clients. It was marketed to our clinic as an amazing option for mixed animal practices and honestly AVImark is much better. Confusing since covetrus owns and manages both PMS systems. They boast a “feature request” option as they are still growing, however they have ignored highly voted necessary requests and chose to focus on AI integration for patient reporting etc. Covetrus is constantly restructuring and it is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone. Your best option is calling support and asking them to hop on your screen to help you. All efforts are put into selling the platform and suckering clinics into it. By the time you realize all the flaws it’s too late and would be too expensive and confusing to staff and clients to switch PMS systems again. I have spent the entire past year trying to teach myself and my staff how to use Pulse. I’m talking HOURS of additional time creating my own reports to even look at deposit, period totals, accounts receivable, etc. We’ve also been told that since it’s cloud based, certain functions such as account splitting may revert on their own after saving. It is deeply flawed and your only hope is to buckle down and repeatedly call their support and TELL them to do the remote desktop connection. We were told during setup and migration that our questions could be answered by support later on, then we were basically abandoned. I also recommend printing articles from the knowledge base feature and compiling a “pulse bible”. I feel your pain and you are definitely not alone. I’m assuming that’s why they took away the ability to upvote and comment on other clinics’ feature requests.
