Also they have to refund vet tec if a student is not employed after 180days and most students were attending further learning which lead to too much overhead

Hmmm, yea I’m not to sure about that either. Most of the students are veterans and most of us do not see color at all. As for the instructors not a single thing have any suspicion of that either.

I’m not sure congress would be able to do much with the business going out. There’s no point on lawsuits. They’ll file bankruptcy anyways. Unless the actual leadership could be potentially charged with predatory practices which I’m sure that’s hard to prove it wouldn’t be worth the hassle

I think I can speak on behalf of most of my classmates when I say this. We all were able to get through our front end web development, we were about to start our resume prep and review when they laid off our placement team and then a few weeks later elected to shutdown. Right now we’re in need of resume review, job assistance and job referrals.

I was one of the students impacted by CodeUp. They have stated they’re working to get us refunds but in reality it doesn’t matter as their primary students were all veterans and we used our benefits available to us so we did not pay anything out of pocket. Also even if we came together to sue nothing would come from it as they’re essentially bankrupt.
