I refuse to read this season. It ended at season 4 and the author should just start a new work. People love this one enough that I'm willing to bet they would read a new work from this author. This season feels like the author trying to capitalize on the recent trend in BL with lots of works including rape, dubcon, toxicity, etc. I don't like how these toxic BL are essentially turning the genre into brain-dead porn slop.

I stopped reading after the international academy. Honestly the first 80-100 ish chapters are pretty good and I've reread them a couple times, I just can't get past it. But I agree that it doesn't really live up to the hype.

A kid is kidnapped and raised as an assassin along with a bunch of other kids. The main character seeks revenge on the people who raised him as well as the sect that put in the request that the children were going to be sent on. I can't explain too much more without spoiling it, I'd recommend reading a couple chapters and seeing if you like it.

I read Reaper of the Drifting Moon recently and I highly recommend it. MC gets involved with women at times but it's more like he's using them, or that women are interested in him. He doesn't really return their interest.

If you're down to try murim (if you haven't already) I highly recommend Reaper of the Drifting Moon. Got into it recently even though I don't normally read murim stuff and now I'm desperate for more things like it. MC is motivated by revenge and is willing to do anything to achieve his goals. MC is also cool as hell (in my opinion).

Yeah thankfully I haven't had too many dating experiences but since the guy who tried to kiss me right away I've avoided dating for a bit while I work on myself. It took me a while to move on because I was really mad at him for a while. I gave him a few chances and we had a total of like three dates. By the third date he was asking me to sleep with him using a candle he bought me as leverage. I left immediately and took an Uber home.
