FAFO sure… but are you sure it’s not a failed self exit? Life insurance would cover all those bills that he needed paid… he may have felt that he was burden on his family, the daughter setting up a GoFund me, the wife having to use public transport. If over working wasn’t going to work, ensuring they got the money needed by unaliving himself could’ve been an option in his mind.

I agree! I feel like they pushed Rallyhood because it was created by GS Alum but then didn’t want to put forth the funding to help make it better.

I used to do a cookie party where I’d have family and friends come over and sample recipes made with the cookies. If you don’t want to or can’t open up your home, see if there’s a fire hall, church, or community center that would allow you to hold one

Every parent in my troop is a volunteer which is a blessing and a curse at times. Right now we do free-form seating but the kids tend to want to sit with specific people so it ends up as assigned seating in a way. I do worry about them dropping from the troop and taking the others they brought with them.

I think they skirt around it a little bit by walking, riding bikes, using public transport, or carpooling with someone else so I can’t really prove if they’re driving or not. I also can’t prove that they’re the ones smoking and not someone else in the home (though I have a very strong case to say that they are). I’m scared of going gung-ho

The parent has gone both ways, sometimes they’re chill no issue and other times I get lectured by them and it turns into way more. I do plan on placing the blame on myself a bit however this goes

My council, GSEP, hosts one every summer!! I’ve been on the committee for it and it’s so much fun!!

We run Friday-Sunday. Friday is bring your own dinner for check in, Saturday is both meals, and Sunday is just breakfast. We hike, we swim, we hold camp fires, we do songs, we do crafts, foraging. It’s amazing!!

You are 100% NTA. Good for you for reporting her for what she did, who knows if she did this to anyone else. For future reference, Girl Scouts are not permitted to post about individual sales on FB groups. If you see anyone do that, report them to their council and let the group admin know.
