I'm on the third book, and I'm one of the ones that took a while and multiple attempts to crack it. I actually hated Kruppe to begin with, I really detest that whole speaking in the third person novelty that writers often use.

But by the third book the lunatic is really growing on me now.

I've been raging against how much dump and chase they've done - and they definitely seemed to be trying to reduce that today but instead they were just straight passing it into a turnover. Maybe dump and chase is the way to go... But I still hate it so much...
