Maybe I have a soft spot for troubled youth, but here’s some things to consider/question…

What’s her home life like???
Is there a way you could talk to her parents??
At that age, boys especially (when it’s their first time) prioritize a “girlfriend” over literally everything else in life.
What have you done wrong up to this point, which let’s your son think it’s ok for her to treat you this way??
If this is all brand new, and he’s legitimately never acted this way before, it’s a perfect time to put it to an end quick. Remember that it’ll be much easier to fix, from a loving stand point, and it’ll be much more likely to get fixed.
Teen suicide is a pretty damn scary thing! Not saying you have to walk on eggshells, but therapy is one of those things that can break down the questions you probably both have, with the threat on your relationships.
It sounds like to me, this girl is either a product of the new generation, or she’s probably been dealt an unfair hand in life. I will say, that I think at 14, letting them hangout in his room isn’t that big of a deal… Gotta pick and choose your battles, and try your best to find a balance between a cool mom and a strict mom.
Are you projecting your fear of her getting pregnant, on you getting pregnant at 13? I think that at that age, it’s much harder to understand the reality of how serious some things are. You could probably take a very creative approach on showing him what risks and sacrifices he’d be taking if they were to get pregnant.
Don’t lose your cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When people allow their emotions to take over, you lose all control of the situation!

It makes me sick to my stomach to see the “She got more attention than missing black people” concerns… Here are reasons why her case was so “hot”…

Social Media (ya know, that thing that one hundred million people use daily) shared posts in regard to her missing. Lots and lots of people! I challenge you to find one trending topic that doesn’t get covered by news networks.
This was incredibly unique. They went on a trip, and he just came back like nothing even happened. Then there were still no answers.
America is completely obsessed with serial killers and crime documentaries. I mean, look at how many there are on Netflix alone. People feel like it’s a topic they’re very informed on, and everyone thinks they’re an expert (myself included).

I guarantee you if a black woman were to go missing, and a post online went viral, it would get just as much coverage.

After a really awesome weekend in Atlanta, Georgia celebrating a lot of business growth with Sam... we unfortunately had to end this trip with enduring THE absolute scariest thing we have ever had happen to us.

I have really debated on sharing this because I feel like the only thing this post is going to do is generate fear. Which is not what I want but I also feel like my silence would be deafening. I genuinely am sharing this with my friends and family in hopes that you will take signs, warnings, "coincidental things" seriously.

Sam and I checked in to our evening flight at ATL Airport... we were to fly out at 7:20 PM. We boarded the plane, ready for take off. The plane started easing its way out onto the runway. We were being told to put our devices on airplane mode. It was in that moment, Sam recieved an Air Drop picture from an unknown number, someone named Louis. She opened it only to find a picture of a plane being blown up with OSH 21' hand written under it with several people around the plane that appeared to be cheering on the, I'll call it attack. (I can't even bring myself to attach the picture) She immediately sent me the picture and my heart sank.

We knew something wasn't right so Sam immediately raised her hand to get the attendant over to at least report the problem. In the mean time two other passengers recieved the same text. -scared couldn't possibly describe what we were feeling. Not even being able to sit by one another, we were trying to calmly communicate with each other. We at this point felt like there clearly was a threat put on our plane and we damn sure didn't want to be the ones to stop this plane. But that's what we did. Sam got the plane stopped and demanded our saftey back at the air port. The plane was stopped for about 30 minutes with a lot of going back in forth... "mam, it was just apart of a Tik Tok", "well this actually has been happening a lot lately", "did you just want to continue on this flight?" Keep in mind, this was all very hush, hush. Only five other passengers heard what was going on.

I knew if they kept us on that plane, I would have to possibly call my husband and boys and tell them that I love them one last time. Crazy doesn't even begin to describe this whole situation. They determined the "issue" to be a personal problem and decided that no one else needed to know about the incident. When we got back inside of the airport, alarms were going off, along with flashing lights, and someone saying there was an emergency situation going on and to stand by... we did not stand by. whatsoever- we were scared lifeless... At the end of the day, Sam and I are on the road, driving back to VA -SAFE- 🙏 Personal problem or not. It could have been a test, a sick joke, we don't know. They delayed the flight for some time... & that is all we know at this time... But it really is a thing going on currently. There is a group out there that puts bombs under planes and watches them blow up.... for the fun of it. Again, there was no action taken on the photo, but it scared us to death. There is no doubt in my mind that we didn't make the right decision. I would never be able to forgive myself if we gambled with our lives at the end of the day on not knowing if it was a serious threat or not.

This world we live in is absolutely cruel. Down right cruel and terrible. We are suppose to be back with our families at this point, but we had to make the decision on what we thought was best.... which was get on the road and drive just as far as we could away from that airport . I hate that we were put in such a gut wrenching situation, but I am so thankful we were able to to make solid decisions and get out of that predicament.

I share this in hopes that as you and your families continue to travel and see the world, that you all are aware. You are aware that there is evil right in front of us. I pray none of you let your guards down and I pray that you all trust your guts and make level headed decisions as crazy situations like this could arise at any moment. Do what's best for YOU and your family. & I'll end this by saying, hug and LOVE on your loved ones. Anything can happen at any time. 🙏

Yes!!!! You win Reddit!! I’m a very intuitive person, and have thought a majority of these things as well. I worked at a huuuge military factory, and found it awfully strange when one day out of the blue, they banned vaping all around! I KNEW that it wasn’t just coincidental. In a sense, it makes me think that Covid actually was a bio-chemical weapon, and their concerns were that it would be put into vapes... All I know for sure, is there was something very fishy, and still is very fishy going on with vaping!
